Actually I have the Adaptec ACB-2322B card controlling an ESDI drive.
The ESDI was pulled from a Sun "shoebox" disk/tape drive.
Unfortunatly I have no alternate drive controller to test it out on.
:-(

To anyone else who is keeping score- I also tried the patched kernels
in the unofficial/newbootables directory to no avail.  I'm still
awaiting suggestions...
