I have a 33MHz 486 with 8MB. I intend to use it as a internet host
connected to a local provider.

I suppose I have to put some form of UNIX on it and Lynx and 386BSD
came to mind. Do you think it is a realistic idea?

The PC also has to allow dial-up access from users. How many modems
do you think it can support?

I would be grateful if anyone can give me some suggestion or share
his experience with me.

Thanks very much.
