I tried last night to use "compose key" processing, to type things like
a-umlaut (ä).  It works just fine for me at work, but at home xterm and
newly-built emacs-19.27 don't interpret the three-keystroke sequence
Multi_key/"/a  as ä, they interpret it as "a.

Any suggestions?
