I need help!

I edited someones SETUP program and I put a hard disk in there that isn't there
Now the computer won't let me boot up to a point where I can change the
SETUP program back to where it was!

I don't have the original DOSdisk that came with the computer,a nd it's an
old IBM PC compat. If anyone has any ideas how I may be able to bypass the
SETUP program in my PC please Email me back directly thatnk you very much.
