Hi all,

I compiled the GNU Ada translator gnat 1.83 on FreeBSD lately
and make the binaries available on

  ftp.ims.uni-stuttgart.de:/pub/unix/FreeBSD/gnat-1.83-freebsd.tar.gz

The distribution contains gcc-2.6.0 and gnat-1.83 including
adaincludes and the Ada library (2.83MB in total), installing
into /usr/local/{bin,adainclude,lib/gcc-lib}.

Note that gnat is written in Ada itself so in order to compile gnat
you need a running gnat system. I picked up the SunOS binaries and
built a cross-compiler to FreeBSD, whose results were then used to
compile gcc+gnat on FreeBSD.

Nils
