In article <CyEB22.8tB@lut.ac.uk> J.C.Highfield@lut.ac.uk writes:

I just upgraded from NetBSD-0.9 to the -current (or 1.0-beta) that is
on ftp.iastate.edu. The upgrade went fine, except that I can't see the
   cursor any more.

   My system is:

      386DX-20, 387
      CGA graphics card
      ESDI disk, WD1007 controller

Does anyone have an idea about this? I checked the archives, but all I
found was a similar problem under FreeBSD with Tseng VGA cards.

Are you using pccons or pcvt?
