Hi -

I am having a slight problem with xdm - namely, it doesn't work.

I spent some time going through the man page, and set up all the
necessary files in my /usr/X386/lib/X11/xdm directory. When my
machine boots up, the xdm page does come up (and X starts).

When I log in, it gives the normal *zink* for my monitor changing
sync, and then it goes back to the xdm screen.... I know that
one potential problem would be the des vs nodes xdm, but I double
checked that I am using the nodes version, so I don't think that
that is it...

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

(also, does anyone have an actual Xserver file that they use on
their machine? I am wondering if mine is setup wrong...)

Thanks,
