I keep getting told that my IDE drive will eventually crash.  I want the 
truth from someone who it happened to, not this rumour shit.  What 
exactly happened, and why!

Thanx.  BTW, I am running FreeBSD 1.1.5.1 after a DOS partition of 750 
megs.  The # of cylinders on my drive is 2099, but I still got it working 
through a few hacks.
