please respond w/ email...

i am finally loading 386bsd 0.1......i know its old
but i spent a bunch of time/money on collecting all the pieces.

i booted the patched dist.fs from funet.fi and used install
to put it on the hard drive.

but now the mread program (loadfd script) dies with a
cant initialize A:
when i do a
mread "a:*.*" .

so i cant load the bin00.xx files!!!

a FAQ on bugs said that a MAKEDEV should be done for fd0 and fd1
but i already have the raw rfd0a and block fd0a entries?
and MAKEDEV is not loaded yet! so i am tempted to try a
mknod fd0 major minor
but i dont know the major/minor numbers...!!!

so it is sort of up but i still have the bin etc src kits
to load and tehn all the patches....i know free/net bsd is better
but i wanna do this.
