ok, you are right, i didn't had a look at it from this side.

but, what can be done to stop those money-makers from selling something which
ought to be free, and give people who just want to USE it, the chance of
getting/using/modifying/etc. it in whatever way they like ?

or, shall i just don't care about the money-makers ?

or, not posting software ?

or, what ?

in my understanding, if one sells something, what someone else "made", that
someone has a right to get at least some of the money from the one who sold it.

(i don't want money from someone, i just want that when i give something for
 free, that it stays free!)

if the one who "made" something, gave it away for free, then everyone giving
it away has to give it for free.

or did i miss something ?
