BOOM! Problem solved! Using the advice of:
   Jason Fordham
   Kent Palmkvist
   Brian McGovern
   and Jordan K. Hubbard

Thanks guys! 1) I had a bad transfer (somewhere, either during FTP or
with my Kermit download). I tried once more, but
this time I used FTP straight from my PC (I've got
Windoze set up with a SLIP connection)

2)Now things seem ok. Binaries installed ok.
However "ps" seems to be broken.
It gives some message about proc...I've got to start writing these things
down. :-)

Still would like to here something on this one. It's a shame to see a
16Mb SIMM go to waste!

Now that I've got it up I'd like some advice on 2 things :

1) I need SLIP badly. I've read the FAQ and I'm still a bit confused.
No, I'm still a lot confused.

2) Anyone with advice on multicast I'd love to hear from you!

Thanks in Advance,
Craig
