   When I first heard about this a few months ago, I called Adaptec. I have
   a AHA-2842 VLB SCSI card. Adaptec said "We support <insert Unix OS>, switch
   to that. I replied ... Well you probably guess. Anyway the person on the
   other end suggested I call their Documentation Dept. for FREE info. So I did
   of course they sent me the AHA-2740 Technical Reference Manual (2 weeks.)
   I called again. They sent me the AHA-2842 Tech. Manual. Great! Oh but it
   references the AIC-7770 Data Book. Now I'm not a Unix Driver Writer guy,
   but it seems to me that there looks like enough information in this to
   code up a driver. Ya it took me 6 weeks to get it, but I have it!
