Because David Taylor runs linux and not FreeBSD on his home.

Nothing is wrong in this picture except that you are running linux and you miss
my point on a way to spread the news of FreeBSD in a meaningful and useful
fashion. Also the target audience of this posting was the *BSD users
and not linux users. If I had wanted the opinion of linux users I would have
cross-posted to the linux newsgroup or to which ever OS you are running.
