Dare I respond? Oh what the heck.. Emulation is a perfectly viable way
to have your cake and eat it too, as over 1 million OS/2 users will tell
you. Not that I'm saying Linux == Windows and FreeBSD == OS/2 by this
analogy; I receive enough junk mail as it is, thank you! :-)

>if bsd is so damn good why hasn't doom been ported to it.... if i remember corectly bsd sure has been around longer than linux. Hell doom has even portted to windoze, and mac.

Uhhh... BIFF? BIFF, is that you? How nice to see that you've finally
learned to use lower-case! Getting that thing out of caps-lock can
be a real bitch, can't it? So... So nice to see that you've decided to take
temporary leave from comp.sys.atari and join us here in the BSD groups!
Maybe we'll finally get a decent WAREZ collection for *BSD, eh? :-)

Oh, BTW, in this newsgroup we generally hit "return" every 70 characters
or so - we can't get our BSD console drivers to go to 1,452 columns
by using *really tiny one pixel fonts* like you do. I know, we're
"totul lamerz!" - help us BIFF, help us! We need your enlightened
guidance to become cool!
