yes, kermit 5a (182) works fine ! i sent the patches for 386bsd 0.1 to
frank da cruz, so they must be on the kermit archive machine.

as far as i remember, one has to enable POSIX, after that, there are 2
undefined #defines in 386bsd when posix is enabled, one is NCCS, and
the other was something in errno.h, but all is easy to fix!

if there is a demand for it, i can post/mail the diffs.
