: I'm running BSD/386 and I'm trying to set up modems to allow people to
: login to my system by calling. I have a Livingston Portmaster 2e
: communications Server hooked up to the computer running bsd. My modems
: are hooked up to communications server. I've already modified the ttys
: and gettytab and can't seem to be able to login when I call. I get
: connected and a few weird looking j's appear and then stops.. I hit a
: key and a few more appears... that's about the closest i have gotten the
: thing to work.. any help would be appreaciated.

Sounds like a baudrate mismatch. Not sure what modems you're running, so
can't offer anything more specific than that.
