Summary: vhangup FreeBSD routine

Is there any chance of the old vhangup() routine being implemented into
FreeBSD 1.1.5.1R ? All of the idle-hangup programs seem to use this
routine. :-/

Any help or direction would be appreciated. I don't want to write process
SIGHUP routines. :-)
