DOS and FreeBSD root partition should be on the first disk to avoid
boot trouble (SCSI ID 0). Install DOS as the first partition.

After that install FreeBSD 1.1.5.1, it determines automatically the
rest of the free space.

Be carefull when entering the drive geometry. Do use the DOS values
otherwise you destroy your DOS partition. I.e:

maxtor8760S|FreeBSD installation generated:\
	:dt=SCSI:ty=winchester:\
	:nc#643:ns#32:nt#64:\
	:se#512:\
512 Bytes / Sector
64 heads
32 sectors
643 cyl = 643 MB

FreeBSD asks you about the partitions you want to install .... etc....
Here what I did:
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
/dev/sd0a 15871 6912 7371 48% /
/dev/sd0e 39455 418 35091 1% /var
/dev/sd0f 90743 31058 59685 34% /var/spool/news
/dev/sd0g 301855 243243 28426 90% /usr
