I rang Adaptec's sales line (1-800-959-7274) specifically to tell them I
wasn't going to buy their EISA controller because their policy makes it
impossible (or impractical) for the FreeBSD team to include a driver.

If you talk to the salesman long enough, you may be asked if you'd like to
take part in a consumer survey - after a few questions ('as a result of
your call, are you more, equally, or less likely to purchase an Adaptec
product?'), you can leave a message.

Complete this sentence in 12 words or less: 'I'm not buying a 2742 because:'
