Does anyone know when 4.4BSD UNIX will be released? And will it include System V's STREAM mechanism (the one invented by Dennis Ritchie) or implement socket on top of STREAM? What are some of the salient new features of 4.4BSD? I am all excited about it, but don't quite know what exactly I should be excited about!
