Hello Everybody,

Currently I am trying to get a system which is running NEW-OS Release
3.4 to connect to the name server we have running. Currently I have the
file resolv.conf pointing to the nameserver but I was wondering whether
there were any other files which needed to be created or used to make a
connection with the name server.

The system can deal with internet functions such as finger if I provide
it with a IP address it just the names that it seems not able to find.

Does anybody have any solutions.

I would appreciate any replies being directed to the following email
address:

      dtho1@nella36.cc.monash.edu.au

Thanking you in advance,

Dean Thompson
