GNU oleo (prep.ai.mit.edu:/pub/gnu/oleo-1.6.tar.gz) should work for you.
It can read and write SYLK format spreadsheet files, which was the old
Microsoft Multiplan format.  I'm sure Lotus can convert them to something
useful (I know Excel can; I don't really know Lotus).
