Hello,
I'm wondering if there is any known incompatablities with any Hard
drive manufacturers. I'm looking to buy a new hard drive for my
486FreeBSD ISA/VESA machine. I don't want to get the IDE-SCSI debate
started again, i would just like to know, can i just go out and buy any
IDE or SCSI drive and expect it to work? I do know that there are
problems with some SCSI controller manufacturers not wanting to realse
info on their cards. I'm looking at the 500Mb range if anyone can tell
me of a specific model they are using in this range.
Thanks, Ron
