Hello all !

This may or may not relevant. ( For me the messages are
cryptic )

Yesterday night I got a system panic and total crash of the
machine.
I was doing - as a normal user - ConfigX86, when the
machine panics with "vm_page_unhold: hold count <0!!!"
and rebooted. After some fiddling I found this in
/usr/src/sys/vm/vm_page.h.

The machine is running FreeBSD 1.1.51 + Patches 1 - 10 applied.
386 DX/40 MHZ + Copro , 8 MB RAM , 33 MB swap, ET 4000 Hicolor,
420 MB Ide HD.

At startup there is :
	real mem 7995392 ( 1952 pages ) <--- Why this ???
	avail mem 7110656 ( 1736 pages )
using 144 buffers 1179648 bytes <--- Dynamically alignement
						possible ?

But after the panic : Error messages +
Saving 8388608 bytes of image in ram.0
If I know, what I can do with this ram.0, maybe I could
make the error clearer.

Can someone explain to me,whether the differerence in real mem
to my 8 MB is normal, and whether it is possible to dynamically
shrink the buffer ?

Thanks for your help
Thomas
