The version in the ports directory builds and uses shared libs.
(ftp://freebsd.cdrom.com/pub/FreeBSD/FreeBSD-current/ports/{lang/tcl,x11/tk})

tclX, however, doesn't. I fiddled a bit with the makefiles to generate
shared libs for it, send me mail if you're interested in the details.
