You have missed the point of the great flame war. We are not dumping
on AT&T because of the hiring practices. I agree wholeheartedly that
they really take care of minorities internally. What really upsets me
today is their continued silence in response to the great BSDI<->ATT
lawsuit. Short of a couple of mail messages there has been an ear
deafening silence from anyone behind the att.com firewalls. Did they
issue a memo internally, BE QUIET OR BE GONE from Darth Vader himself?

                                                 ^^^^^^^
This flame war is far from useless. You had better read the suite that
USL(ATT) has served to BSDI. If you have ever worked on, touched, supported,
saw a copy lying on an AT&T employee's desk you could be effectively poisoned
from working with any form of U**X o/s development for another company again.
This has my circles going crazy. We have all either worked directly for the
Death Star on Unix support or worked for a university that had a source
license and we all are working on o/s development.

Ok I like the .sig!
