Well, I had 1.0BETA (current) running till things died and it took me
2 days to realize I had to start from scratch. So I reformated and
this time instead of going to the -current via 0.9 I went straight
to -current.

I unpacked all the current binary stuff and tested a lot of it before
I rebooted and brought it up again (I did this where normally you'd
unpack the 0.9 stuff but did -current instead).

Anyways... now when I reboot things are fine until it's done exec'ing
/etc/rc and the thing just locks. No login prompt or anything.
I can get in if I pound on the ^C while /etc/rc is starting so I figured
I can fixe whatever from there.

Unfortunately, I don't know what to fix. For now I've mv'ed /etc/rc to a
diff file and just have an empty rc there so I can just reboot and not
worry about doing the ^C thing.

Any thoughts on what's hanging it up? I haven't modified the /etc/rc*
files and double checked files like /etc/ttys, etc... and they all seem
fine yet I don't get a login prompt.

Do I have to upgrade after I've completely installed 0.9?

Anything & everything is much appreciated.

Greg
