I have a DTC3280AS SCSI controller, and am trying to install FreeBSD. Here's
the problem...

I built an install disk using RAWRITE and upon boot, it gives me the first
screen, and stops there. I installed a different floppy card (DTC controller
still installed) and I get the same result. I remove the DTC controller,
and boot up, and it boots up! But of course without the controller, I can't
very well install FreeBSD.

Here's the question (as if you haven't already figured it out): What do I
have to the controller to get it to boot up?

Machine: Generic 386 w/ Neat Chipset and Co-Processor
Version I'm trying to install: FreeBSD 1.1 RELEASE
I understand 1.1.5.1 doesn't work with this controller.

Any help will be appreciated.

Vince.
