I'm running FreeBSD 1.1R and it's ok for me. So I don't want to update to 1.1.5.1. Last week I bought a Sound Blaster 16. The problem is, that the 1.1R does not support this sound card (16 bit dma and so on). So my question. Is it possible to replace the driver in usr/src/sys/i386/isa/sound from 1.1R by the files from 1.1.5.1 ??? I would appreciate to anything from you ...
