An interview is not a one sided exchange.  While they are interviewing
you, you must be evaluating them.  If that's the best they can do to
determine you're a flake, then be polite, but forget them as soon as
you get your travel reimbursement.

Just as there are plenty of idiotic, lazy wannabe programmers, there
are plenty of bureaucratic, ignorant wannabe managers.  Like flocks to
like.  There are more than enough outfits composed mostly of both, but
with a few misplaced souls who didn't pay attention during the interview
or otherwise ended up in the wrong place.
