As jmonroy's post was represented on my newsfeed it was 6902 bytes. Of
that, 4018 bytes consisted of quoted material, 1106 bytes were header.
This leaves 1778 bytes for "content." Of this "content," we find 227 are
for the signature, 63 new-lines and 513 spaces. For the "content,"
spaces make up about 28.9%. Of course, a number of those are necessary
to make even partial sense of the postings, but for an off-the-wall
attempt at sarcasm, sef came pretty close.

A couple more percentages...
jmonroy text / quoted text: 44.3%
jmonroy text / entire text: 38.6%

<grin> The word that was apparently meant was lobotomy. -tomy being a
suffix meaning "incision" and "lob-" being from "lobe," referring to the
frontal lobes of the brain. Not too many lobotomies are performed these
days... However, that misspelling lends credence to the premise that
jmonroy's postings come from an AI lab somewhere ;-)
