Hiya,
I just installed FreeBSD on Friday. but, I can't get it to use the
CD-ROM (which is funny, cuz that's where it installed from) or my
ethernet card.

I know why it won't work with the ethernet card: I have an SMC (WD8013)
card (which is supported), but BSD is looking for the card at I/O base
address 0x280, and I have it at 0x360. I can move the card, I suppose,
but I'd rather not. Where/how do you configure FreeBSD for hardware-
specific info like this?

Also, it wont let me mount my CD-ROM to install additional options. How
do you setup the CD-ROM? I made the mistake of assuming that, since it
installed from the CD-ROM, it would setup the device properly for future
use.

thanks,
Jonathan
