X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Date: Mon, 8 Aug 1994 15:19:13 GMT Lines: 29 I've been working on getting a slip line brought using winsock and a BSDI V1.1 system connected with a Digiport. While I have made many slip connections work with a telebit netblazer I'm compleatly unable to get this puppy to work. The Winsock system connects to the BSDI system and completes the login. slip.host and slip.login are looked at and run and the SL0 interface is started as seen in ifconfig and netstat -i. Also the routing information seems to be ok as show by netstat -rn. But when you try to ping the winsock system there are no replys. On the winsock system if you trace ip packets. There is a message about ICMP checksum errors with each inbound packet from the BSDI system. Dose anyone have any ideas? Also is there anyproblem running slip througth the digiport box? I thought that maybe the digiport box might not like to run binary data so I set up a uucp link and that worked with out error.
