I recently read that SysV R4 has more than '700 known panics' and that
4.xBSD has its share as well.

I would like to be able to confirm (deny?) these numbers and perhaps
clarify what is accepted as a 'known panic'.

If anyone could please supply me with information or pointers to
such a source, it would be greatly appreciated.

Please e-mail direct to;
