I know that everyone seems to have their religious preferences (and
I am quite guilty of that too), but lets wait and see.  I am sure that
there will be some things missing in 386BSD V1.0 as there will be/are
in FreeBSD V*.* and NetBSD V*.*.  If Mr. Jolitz is not too restrictive
in his copyrights, etc we might be getting some good stuff from him.  I
heard rumors about a merged VM/Buffer cache in his code for example.  That
will not stop me from completing mine -- but all of this is improving the
technology base.
 
The past is the past, it has been a long time since the last release of
386BSD, but lets look forward.  (THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE FLAME BAIT.)  My
work has been put down by people not giving me a chance -- let's not continue
that ugly *BSD tradition -- please?  These statements are not meant to
hurt anyones feelings -- we all get caught up in it one time or another!!!
