The main reason that FreeBSD is keeping SYSV ipc is for iBCS2 compatibility.
We will initially be using the NetBSD shared mem (I think), and perhaps
re-implement it later.  It is very important.  Also, I'll bet that there
are programmers out there who are used to SYSV ipc -- why not give it to
them.
