Hi, I am a Molecular biology student in Buffalo. I'm planning on setting up
386 BSD 0.1 on my 486 PC, but I'm worried about a couple of compatibility
issues. The PC I'm getting is a 486 50DX EISA system. The Installation notes
indicate that BSD is set up for ISA machines... Has anyone succesfully used
BSD on an EISA system? Also I need to know if the DTC3290 SCSI card will work
properly with the drivers meant for an Adaptec 1542. I could get and Ultrastor
card which is more closely related to the 1542 but I really would prefer not to
make any changes in the current configuration. Thanks for your help!
