I'm using FreeBSD 1.1.5.1 with an Artisoft Noderunner
SI 2000T ethernet card. It has software selection
between Artisoft, artisoft-8bit, and ne2000 modes,
so I selected the ne2000.

But when probed, it says ne1000:
/386bsd: ed0 at 0x300-0x31f irq 5 on isa
/386bsd: ed0: address 00:00:02:02:67:67, type NE1000 (8 bit)

What's really troubling is that it seems to be getting
the wrong ethernet address off the card; I tried
two different cards of the same model, and this same
ethernet address comes up.

It appears to be working OK, but is there a way to
make it probe as an ne2000 and get the correct
ethernet address?

Thanks.
