Hi,
I am having two major (?) problems.
1)	Occasionally when I reboot (after shutdown -h now) my computer locks up
after displaying the results of fsck root (/dev/wd0a). The symtoms are:
The hard disk access light is on, but I can't hear the noise it usually makes
when it is being accessed. I can warm boot the machine.
Until this morning a [ctrl]-[alt]-[del] fixed it. This morning I had to RESET
four times before [ctrl]-[alt]-[del] did it's job.
My /etc/rc file is the one that is distributed with cgd's dist.fs. I assume
that is the same as the one that was released with 0.1.0 (not that it is the
problem - I don't think.)

2)	I also get the following errors relating to 0.1.44 (cgd's dist.fs)
savecore: /386bsd: _dumpdev not in name list
symorder: /386bsd: stripped: inappropriate file type or format

I assume they are both because the kernel has had it's symbol table stripped.
I don't have the disk-space to hold, let alone recompile, the kernel sources.
Is there anywhere I can get hold of the un-stripped kernel? When replacing a
kernel is it just a matter of copying it to /386bsd? If it is all I need is a
compressed [tar|cpio] format of the kernel.

My machine config:
AMI BIOS (04/09/90)
33MHz 386 (no co-processor)
fd0: 3.5 in
fd1: 5.25 in
RAM: 4 Meg
wd0: Maxtor 7040 AT (40 Meg)
wd1: Maxtor 7040 AT (40 Meg)

Can anyone help please?
If so would you please email me, because our news feed in is not working. I
will summarize. (I will only know if my news feed out is workin if I get a
reply :-))
