Hi,

I'm having the following problem:
I can dial up and establish a SLIP connection with a FreeBSD 1.5.1.1
machine, then I am able to telnet, ping, ftp, etc etc., but *only* to
the machine where I'm connected to. When I try to do anything beyond
this machine, I get a 'host or gateway not responding' error.

Is there a default option which disallows SLIP users to reach sites
beyond the SLIP server ?

The routing tables look ok, there's a route added from my host to the
SLIP client (sl0). Which as far as I know should be enough. I'm
talking about the routing tables on the SLIP server.
The SLIP client routes everything to the SLIP server.

Am I missing something ?

- Rob.
