Indeed it can, I have a BT445S firmware revision 3.67 hardware rev E.
This card was just upgraded for me by my supplier from an early version.
Note that this SCSI controller is not directly interchangeable with the
earlier versions of the card: Firmware 3.36 Hardware < rev D. I know,
I just swapped the newer card for the older and my existing kernel
would not boot.

If you have the newer card, boot using the kcopy_bt floppy to install.
*** be _sure_ you change the interrupt setting for the card to
interrupt 12. This is done in *2* places on the card:

sw2 6,7 and 8 and the w[3-8] jumper block near the
edge connector. This works for FreeBSD-1.1.5.1R

I was able to install from the kcopy_ah floppy with the earlier version
of the HW/Firmware Note that this is true only for FreeBSD-1.1R. I
don't know if the adaptec driver works with the earlier version of the
card with 1.1.5.1R.

Hope this helps...
