Hello.
I am a networking/unix programmer working with two system: one BSDI, one
SunOS. I have LINUX at home, and I was thinking of changing over to BSD,
simply because I am more familiar with it.
Now here's my problem: is PPP/SLIP any easier to configure with FreeBSD
than LINUX? I have had a hell of a lot of trouble getting it to work
under LINUX (shameful, with the cool job title I have ;) and I desperately
want to establish a SLIP network link to my workplace, so I can do FTP,
X, etc from home.
Changing over to FreeBSD would be a major pain in the OS, so if anyone
who has had a great deal of success with DIP/SLIP/PPP connections under
FreeBSD would be willing to instruct me as to how to set it up, I would
gladly change systems.
I have no loyalties. I will always take the easier path. ;)

Thanks,
Robert Mobbs
