Geoff, I would imagine that Charles "jumped" at you was because he's beginning to get a bit peeved at the repeated mistatement (as he sees it) that he has to continually refute. I'm sure we've all been there at some point - and it can be very annoying. I'm sure Charles is perfectly capable of speaking for himself, I only mention this because to someone sufficiently wound up about something, your post could contribute to prolong/generate a flame war...
