Hi -

I am trying to find some documentation on rcp protocol in
general, for use on my FreeBSD system. (I am trying to write
an interface to a custom hardware Intel960 machine running
vxWorks). I was wondering if anyone out there knew of a
book or a ftp site where I could find the handshaking info?
Specifically, I am trying to figure out how to make my pc
receive an error message from the vxWorks machine and exit
the rcp with either a numerical value or an error string created
on the vxWorks machine and sent over a socket.

Any advice/info/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
(I tried running an archie, but archie on our system seems to
be totally hosed.)

Thanks
