Oh give me a break.  If you switch your operating system over a goddamn 
release difference on the gnu C compiler you are pretty damn feeble.  
First off, 2.5.8 is not that stable, hence its exclusion from the formal 
distribution.

Anyhow, what happens when Linux doesnt run GCC 2.6.0 or whatever...you 
gonna switch to Windoze???
