What do you mean by "a database"?  If you are simply referring to a group of
html files accessed via an http daemon, we currently use this setup on usu's
home page (although we are changing to an alpha whenever it arrives).  We are
running FreeBSD (stats are at http://www.usu.edu/webmaster.html).  There have
been no unusual problems...(oh, we are using the NCSA daemon).
