Yeah, I had the same problem with NetBSD 0.9.  It seems that there is
a bizarre off-by-one error when you add swap on a second disk.  What
you do is edit your disk partitions and reduce the size of your second
swap partition by one cylinder.  As far as I could see when I was
looking at the problem the swap code uses one more cylinder than the
disklabel specifies - reducing the secondary swap partition by one
cylinder made the problem go away for me.
