Umm, I wouldn't go that far.  Both FreeBSD and NetBSD got the 4.4lite
code at the same time (modulo a day or two).  NetBSD has released
publically it's 4.4lite derived tree, while FreeBSD has chosen to keep
it private until it's more stable.  But as far as development goes it
differences in development.
