You'll find the easiest way is to get the installation disks and get it
up far enough that your partitions work and that you can ftp.
Then ftp ftp.netbsd.org and get the binaries for 'i386' (I presume that you're
using an i386). Install the binaries and noticing that you'll need the new
boot blocks to boot the new kernel, but they won't boot an old kernel.
(You can use the floppies if you need to boot an old kernel)

Then you can start supping.

If you wait a bit then near the end of july there will be a new release
of NetBSD for setting up in one go.
