Summary: should i overwrite msdos partition info?
X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2]

I am trying to disklabel my second ide drive (wd1) so that i can access it
from freebsd 1.1.5. wd1 presently contains only msdos, all in one
partition. disklabel asks if i want to overwrite the existing partition
info. if i say no, the disklabel is not written. but if i say yes, won't
that mess up msdos access to the drive?

what to do?
